Introduction

The Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC) at Sarhad University of Science and Information Technology was established in 2017 in line with the vision and guidelines of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. Since its inception, ORIC has served as a central platform to promote and strengthen the university’s research culture, innovation ecosystem, and academia-industry linkages.

ORIC at Sarhad University continues to work diligently to enhance the research capacity of the institution and position it as a hub for innovation, entrepreneurship, and commercialization in the region.

Our mission is to foster a vibrant research and innovation ecosystem by promoting high impact research, facilitating the commercialization of knowledge, and bridging the gap between academia and industry to drive entrepreneurship and sustainable development aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
