Based on the recommendation of the Inspection Committee, the Pakistan Nursing Council, Govt. of Pakistan has recently approved recognition of BS Nursing and Post RN Nursing Programs of the University. Both the programs will be launched from Fall-2021 Session.
Accredited Engineering Qualifications Granted to Department of Electrical Engineering of Sarhad University of Science and Information Technology, Peshawar in category first schedule Programs Accredited Under Level-II from Intake of Batch 2005 up to 2012 (B.Sc. Electrical Engineering) Updated SRO No. 124(I)/2017 Dated February 27, 2017). For the intake batch 2013 and onward Re-Accredation of Electrical Engineering program AC- Forms are submitted under letter reference No.SUIT/PEC/2017/053 dated 23-01-2017 . for the accreditation of intake 2013 and onward PEC visitation is expected to visit Electrical Engineering Department of Sarhad University of Science and Information Technology, Peshawar shortly in the start of July 2017.
The Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree program was started in Fall 2007. So far, three batches have been graduated from the University (Fall 2007 to Fall 2009) and the graduates of all these batches have been accredited/registered by the Pakistan Engineering Council. The last accreditation visit was held on 9-10 May, 2014, and the intimation of their recommendations is still awaited.
The Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree program was started in Fall 2007. So far, the University has graduated two batches (Fall 2008 to Fall 2009) and the graduates of all these batches have been accredited/registered by the Pakistan Engineering Council. The last accreditation visit was held on 22-23 April, 2014, and the intimation of their recommendations is still awaited.
The National Technology Council, Islamabad has accorded approval for accreditation of BSc. Engineering Technology in Civil, Electrical and Mechanical programs of Sarhad University of Science & Information Technology, Peshawar for 2018 batches. This was notified by the NTC vide their letter No. NTC/12/05/Accreditation, dated 29.11.2022 after seeking approval from the Accreditation Committee of NTC decided in its 4 th Meeting held on 2nd November 2022.
The University launched five year Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm-D) program in Fall 2004. So far five batches (Fall 2004 to Fall 2008) have graduated and their degrees are recognized by the Pharmacy Council of Pakistan.
The University started this program in Fall 2001. After the establishment of the National Computing Education Accreditation Council (NCEAC), the University has been visited thrice by Council. The last visit was held on 14 March, 2013 while another visit is expected in September, 2014.
The Department of Business Administration is one of the pioneer departments (established in 2001) During its 22 years of life, it has achieved impressive growth in terms of its various academic related initiatives. The Department has been offering diverse programs (undergraduate, graduate, and post graduate) to cater for the needs of the market. Keeping its academic excellence, the Department has been accredited by the HEC accreditation Council National Business Education Accreditation Council. The department has a number of strengths which include: highly qualified faculty in finance, HR, Marketing, IT, and Accounting; accredited by the NBEAC in X Category from 2015-2025.
A team from Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC) visited the University in Sep, 2011 in connection with recognition of our MPH Program offered at the Main Campus as well as in Islamabad. The MPH degree program was recognized for all those graduating after May, 2011.
