Objectives
The AD English (02 Years) program is an Associate Degree program which follows the guidelines of Higher Education Commission, Islamabad, Pakistan. It helps the learner how to use various skills involved with the interpretation, understanding, analysis, reading and research of various texts and pieces of English literature. Courses are selected in order to develop an understanding of different genres and forms of literary expression (poetry, prose, novel, drama, non- fiction) as well as linguistic and rhetorical skills through frequent reading and writing assignments and class discussions.
Outcomes
- The students will demonstrate the capacity to write and speak clearly, read perceptively, and think critically.
- The students will have the knowledge of historical traditions in literature.
- The students will understand how written and spoken language expresses diverse cultural experiences.
- The students will have profound knowledge of the key concepts in English language and literature.
Candidates holding intermediate certificate with at least 45% marks or A-Levels with equivalency certificate from IBCC Islamabad or an equivalent certificate from a recognized institution are eligible to apply.
Candidates need to pass an entry test or aptitude interview conducted by the University.

Free Education Program from Workers Welfare Fund for industrial workers and their children.
20% Concession in Tuition Fee on Kinship basis.
20% Concession in Tuition Fee for all Female Students.
50% Concession in Admission fee and 20% Concession in Tuition fee in all programs for SUIT Graduates.
50% Concession in Tuition Fee for Children of Shuhada of Armed Forces / Police.
15% Concession in tuition Fee for Armed Forces / Police Personnel/Government School & College Teachers & their Children.
10% Concession in Tuition Fee for erstwhile FATA Agencies Domicile Holders.

- The scholarships will be subjected to in-time fee submission as per University Policy.
